We made meaningful progress in expanding access, backing founders, and strengthening the foundations for a more sustainable economic future for Africa.
As we step into 2026, we’re building on that momentum with sharper focus and bolder ambition. This year is about going deeper with our community, being more deliberate in how we deploy capital and support founders, and creating long-term value together.

Kicking off the year, we are proud to share an exciting update from one of our portfolio companies. Mono was acquired by Flutterwave in an all-stock deal valued between $25 million and $40 million. This acquisition bring together two of Africa’s leading financial technology infrastructure companies! You can read more here.

The eighth edition of the Africa Tech Summit is coming up February 11th and 12th 2026, and in Nairobi, Kenya. ATS connects tech leaders from the African ecosystem and international players under one roof. Attendees will be listening to speakers from the most successful ventures on the continent and beyond.
